Travel Writing
Japan is full of stories ready to be told about its places and people. I’ve written about wine culture in Yamanashi; lesser-known art islands in Seto Inland Sea; time-capsule towns in Oita and vegan restaurants in Hokkaido.
I’ve biked down mountains, bathed in wild hot springs, met monks and hung out with foragers. With language no longer a barrier, I seek out the weirdest, wildest or calmest travel experiences. It’s a hobby and a job that I feel incredibly lucky to have.
I write articles, advertorials and copy around travel, with agency clients including: Fairfield by Marriott, Museum of the Imperial Collections and Hokkaido Tourism Board.
